KABOBS
What is a kabob? Basically put; it’s any food on a stick. Placing a kabob or two in a small cast iron skillet and into your oven can make a great snack. Editor’s note: Chicken Satay is our researcher’s favorite.
LOADED POTATOES
Partially bake a grouping of potatoes and finish them in the oven with toppings such as bacon and cheese. From there, you can add cold toppings of your choice (Onions, sour cream, etc.).
CORN ON THE COB
Pre-boil your cobs and finish cooking them in your oven with toppings such as parmesan cheese or chipotle mayo.
SPECIALTY SEAFOOD
Clams and mussels quickly cook at high heat in any flavor of broth. Make sure you use a vessel that can handle high heat and you are extremely careful taking it out of the oven!
GARNISHES
Need to add a “little something special” to your meal? Roast jalapeno and lime for a fire roasted margarita. Any kind of char-roasted citrus can be added to any recipe – have you tired a fire roasted bloody mary with a wood-fired skewer of shrimp, bacon, cherry peppers and tomatoes?
